Ultrasound (Sonography): Picture of the stomach and pelvis
organs as well as the thyroid gland.
Rest, stress and long-term EKG:
to rule out a coronary heart condition as well as heart rhythm
disturbances.
Measurement of the lung function:
Assessment of the lungs' performance during chronic and acute
windpipe illnesses.
Laboratory examinations: Routine
checkup, but with additional individual blood tests, e.g. major
blood count, cholesterol during fat metabolism disturbances,
PSA (prostate specific antigen) in the context of preventive
care for men, blood group classification, etc.
Preventive care for men: A
physical and prostate examination from the age of 45 on. Upon
request a PSA (prostate specific antigen) test as well.
Check up examination: Cholesterol
and blood sugar measurement from age 35 on.
Expanded check up examination:
Upper body and thyroid sonography. Blood test, stress EKG, measurement
of the lungs, performance, physical examination. |
